John Green began his literary career as a book reviewer for Booklist Magazine. It was excellent training for a young author who has won the Printz Award for Excellence in Young Adult Literature (2006) for his first book, Looking for Alaska, and had his second book, An Abundance of Katherines recognized as a Printz Honor Book (2007).
